About

Band of Horses is an American indie rock band from Seattle, formed in 2004 by Ben Bridwell after the breakup of slowcore outfit Carissa's Wierd. They broke through with their debut "Everything All the Time" (2006) and the single "The Funeral", which became a cultural touchstone through extensive film and TV use. Their third album "Infinite Arms" (2010) debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200 and earned a Grammy nomination. The band has released six studio albums in total, most recently "Things Are Great" (2022).

    Band of Horses released on March 20, 2026 an expanded anniversary edition of the debut album "Everything All the Time" via Sub Pop with remastered audio, bonus tracks and liner notes by producer Phil Ek.

    In January 2026 the band announced a spring tour in the USA to celebrate the debut album's 20-year anniversary, starting in Seattle on March 19.

    In April 2025 Band of Horses released a dance edit of "The Funeral" in collaboration with DJ-producer Gryffin via Sub Pop Records.

    Band of Horses plays at Øya Festival in Oslo on August 14, 2026 and continues to Stockholm and Copenhagen in September.
