Bryony McNiven is the Distillery Manager at Ardbeg on Islay, Scotland. She took up the role on 1 January 2026, becoming the first female distillery manager in Ardbeg's nearly 200-year history. Raised just a few kilometres from the distillery - where her father worked for 35 years - she also serves as co-chair of the global Ardbeg Committee.
