About the venue

Christian's Church (Christians Kirke) stands in Christianshavn in Copenhagen. It dates from the 18th century and was designed by Nicolai Eigtved, originally as Frederiks tyske Kirke for a German-speaking congregation. The interior is unusual, with tiers of enclosed boxes that recall a theatre. Besides services, the church is used for concerts.
