Christiane Vejlø is a Danish futurist and media analyst, CEO of Elektronista Media, and one of Denmark's most sought-after keynote speakers on artificial intelligence and the human consequences of technological change. She has advised several Danish governments - through bodies such as the Disruption Council and the Data Ethics Council - and has sat on the DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) board since 2025. Her 2023 book "Argumenter for Mennesker" became a bestseller, and in June 2026 she published "Pinlige onkler" (Politikens Forlag), making the case that human imperfection and unpredictability are our greatest assets in an AI-driven world.
Vejlø published in June 2026 the book "Embarrassing Uncles - and Other Things We'll Need in a Future with AI" at Politikens Forlag.
Since late summer 2025, Vejlø has hosted the future podcast "Then You Better Have Luck With That, At Least" together with designer Kristina May.
Vejlø took office on 1 January 2025 as a board member of DR, appointed by the Minister of Culture.
Vejlø was chairman of the Digital Fraud Task Force at Finans Danmark in 2024.
