Claus Christoffersen teaches philosophy and the history of ideas at the Danish University of Popular Education (Folkeuniversitetet), with courses covering Hannah Arendt, populism and democracy. In 2022 he became the first recipient of the Athenepris, an award given by Folkeuniversitetet for outstanding teaching.
