Compagnie des Quidams is a French street theatre company founded in 1994 by Jean-Baptiste Duperray, based in Bresse Vallons, north of Lyon. With a troupe of over 30 artists and technicians drawn from theatre, dance, music and circus, the company performs 100 to 150 shows a year across roughly 50 countries. Their wordless, visual productions use giant costumes, stilts and light to turn public spaces into poetic worlds. Since 2023, artistic direction has been shared by Vincent Borel, Françoise Hueso-Chapon and Bastien Rolly.
