Dela Botri is a Ghanaian flutist, percussionist and composer who works in the space between West African musical traditions and jazz. He met Danish saxophonist Katrine Suwalski in Ghana in 2015, and the two have performed regularly together in both countries since. Their 2018 duo album Ghana Calling drew praise for Botri's distinctive flute playing, described by critics as beautiful as birdsong.
