Well Stitched Jazz - a knitted concert

Albert Reinholdt Østergaard brings Well Stitched Jazz to Den Gule Plads in Copenhagen on Thursday, 20 August 2026 at 16:30. The concert is free and takes place at the temporary outdoor public space on Asger Jorns Allé in Ørestad Syd, established by By & Havn as a venue for the neighbourhood's activities. Østergaard combines music and knitting in a distinctive performance, presenting his own compositions alongside hand-knitted works. The music draws on Cuban rhythms, jazz improvisation and Nordic folk melody. This is one of two Danish dates on the tour - the other takes place in Them later in the year.
