Well Stitched Jazz - a knitted concert

Composer and knitting artist Albert Reinholdt Østergaard brings music and knitting together in this concert. He performs his own compositions, shares the ideas behind them, and presents hand-knitted works - weaving connections between yarn and the strings of the bass.

The music draws from Cuban rhythms, jazz improvisation, and Nordic folk melodies. On stage he is joined by Carsten Kær (DK) on piano and Eliel Lazo (CU) on congas.

The event is free and organized by Kultur & Fritid Amager Vest with support from By & Havn.
