Felix Pastorius is an American bassist born in 1982, the son of jazz legend Jaco Pastorius. He has forged his own career on six-string electric bass across jazz and fusion, working with the Yellowjackets, Cindy Blackman Santana, and his own New York-based band Hipster Assassins. A musician, teacher, and writer, he is one of the more versatile voices on the contemporary jazz scene.
