
Claus Waidtløw Quartet
A tribute to Stan Getz and Oscar Peterson featuring Claus Waidtløw and Henrik Gunde, two of Denmark's most accomplished jazz musicians, with classics from 1958 and the bossa nova era.
Henrik Gunde Pedersen (born 22 July 1969) is a Danish jazz pianist from the Esbjerg area and one of the first graduates of the rhythmic programme at the Vestjysk Music Conservatory. He holds a permanent seat with the DR Big Band and leads the trio Gunde On Garner, which since 1995 has channelled Erroll Garner's swing aesthetic through its own arrangements. As a sideman he has worked with Billy Cobham, Jimmy Heath, Tom Harrell and Aldo Romano, and he is also a regular member of the Hans Ulrik Quartet.
