Hilal Kaya (born 1989 in Herning) is a Danish-Turkish vocalist and songwriter who weaves Anatolian folk music together with jazz, rock, psych-folk and afrobeats. She built her reputation through collaborations with Kalaha and Aarhus Jazz Orchestra before launching a solo career in 2024. In 2025 she received two DMA Roots nominations in her own name, and her debut album Sümbül was released on 28 August 2026 via the German label CPL Music.
