Ian Bousfield is a British trombonist, born in 1964, who served for many years as principal trombone of the Vienna Philharmonic. He is widely regarded as one of the foremost classical trombonists of his generation and has performed with major orchestras across the world. He also teaches at music academies in Switzerland.
