Jakob Bro-Jørgensen is a Danish behavioural ecologist based at the University of Liverpool. With over 25 years of fieldwork on the East African savanna, he specialises in topi antelopes in Kenya's Masai Mara reserve. His research into reproductive strategies and sex roles has challenged classic Darwinian assumptions about passive females and active males.
