
Kresten Osgood Quintet (DK)
Kresten Osgood Quintet, one of Danish jazz's most important ensembles, presents a strong lineup featuring some of the country's finest musicians on saxophone, trumpet, piano, and bass.
Jeppe Zeeberg is a Danish pianist, composer and bandleader born in 1988, who holds a master's degree from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen (2013). A member of the Barefoot Records collective, he leads several projects - most notably Horse Orchestra and The Absolute Pinnacle of Human Achievement - while also playing in the Kresten Osgood Quintet. He has won Danish Music Awards Jazz for best new name and special release of the year (both 2015), and has performed as a solo pianist across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Zeeberg released in September 2025 the album 'Live 1963 (The Lost Recordings)' on Centrifuga Records - a live recording featuring Julie Kjær, Erik Kimestad and Cornelia Nilsson, among others.
The solo album 'Six Additional Pieces of Piano Music' was released on 31 July 2024 - a collection of jazz standards produced and released by Zeeberg himself.
Zeeberg and The Absolute Pinnacle of Human Achievement performed at the Vinterjazz festival on Stengade in Copenhagen in February 2024.
The album 'Occasionally, Good Things Do Happen' was released in September 2023 and was celebrated with a release concert at H15 Studio in Copenhagen.
