Kaare Johannessen holds a master's degree in history and medieval archaeology from the universities of Odense and Aarhus, with more than 20 years of experience in museum education. He has worked as a curator at Middelaldercentret in Nykøbing Falster and gives lectures on how fiction - novels, films and TV series - shapes our understanding of historical figures and events.
