Kaya Brüel is a Danish singer, songwriter, actress and author, born in Copenhagen in 1972 as the daughter of musician Sanne Brüel. She debuted at 18 with the album "Kaya" in 1991 and has since released more than ten albums spanning pop, jazz and children's music. Alongside her recording career she has built a substantial stage presence in musicals and music theatre, earning two Reumert nominations, and reached a wide audience as co-host of DR's "Morgensang" during the 2020-21 lockdown.
Kaya Brüel takes the "Synger Jomfru Ane Band" production on an autumn tour with stops in Copenhagen, Esbjerg, Horsens, Aarhus, Vejle, Hvidovre and Aalborg in September 2026.
