Khalid is an American R&B and pop singer from El Paso, Texas, who broke through in 2016 with his debut single "Location", recorded while he was still in high school. His debut album American Teen (2017) and follow-up Free Spirit (2019) - which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 - established him as one of the defining voices of his generation. He has earned seven Grammy nominations and collaborated with artists including Normani, Halsey and Disclosure, amassing over 35 billion streams on Spotify.
Khalid released his fourth studio album After the Sun Goes Down on October 10, 2025 via Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records, executive produced by Ilya Salmanzadeh.
Khalid announced his It's Always Summer Somewhere Tour - a 25-date North American tour with Lauv as co-headliner, starting in May 2026 and marking his first headliner tour since 2019.
Khalid released the deluxe edition of Sincere on December 6, 2024 with six new songs, including collaborations with Normani, Ayra Starr and Chloe Bailey.
The third album Sincere was released on August 2, 2024 and debuted at number two on Billboard's Top R&B Albums chart.
