King Parrot are a grindcore/thrash band from Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2010. Drawing on grindcore, death metal, thrash and hardcore punk, they have completed over 18 international tours since 2014 across North America, Europe and Asia. The band has released four studio albums - most recently 'A Young Person's Guide to King Parrot' (2025) - and has shared stages with Pantera, Lamb of God and Obituary.
King Parrot announced a Europe and UK headliner tour in September 2026, including festival performances at Get Lost Fest in Hamburg and Summer Dying Loud in Poland.
The band completed a 39-date USA tour as support for GWAR and Soulfly, before turning their attention to Europe.
Fourth studio album 'A Young Person's Guide to King Parrot' was released on June 6, 2025 via Housecore Records - the band's first full album in eight years.
King Parrot toured Europe and the UK as support for Pantera and Power Trip in February 2025.
The band performed at Knotfest Australia in March 2024.
