British extreme metal pioneers Napalm Death bring their "Campaign for Musical Destruction Part 2" tour to Copenhagen's Pumpehuset for one night.
Napalm Death are a British extreme metal band from Birmingham, formed in 1981. Widely credited as pioneers of grindcore and death metal, their 1987 debut "Scum" set the template for the genre. They also hold the Guinness World Record for the shortest recorded song - "You Suffer", at 1.316 seconds. The current lineup is vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway, bassist Shane Embury, guitarist John Cooke, and drummer Danny Herrera.
Napalm Death and Melvins released the collaborative album "Savage Imperial Death March" on April 10, 2026 via Ipecac Recordings - a full collaboration where both bands play together on all eight tracks.
The band announced a North American spring tour 2026 with 32 cities in the USA and Canada, with Deadguy and Primitive Man as support on selected dates.
Napalm Death's annual "Campaign For Musical Destruction" tour started in Europe in January 2026 with Whiplash and Varukers as support.
"Savage Imperial Death March" was first released in a limited vinyl edition on February 16, 2025 via Amphetamine Reptile Records.
The grind supergroup Bent Sea - with members from among others Napalm Death - announced the debut album "The Dormant Ruin" for release in September 2025.
