Konvent
Konvent takes the stage at Den Grå Hal with crushing riffs and melancholic noise, alongside St. Digue, SPIRACLE and Vægtløs.
Konvent are a Danish doom/death metal band from Copenhagen, formed in 2015. The all-female quartet is known for crushingly slow riffs, a bleak atmospheric sound and Rikke Emilie List's guttural vocals. Their debut album "Puritan Masochism" (2020, Napalm Records) earned them international recognition in the metal scene, followed by "Call Down the Sun" (2022).
Konvent announced their third album "Firesky", which will be released on November 6, 2026 via Napalm Records, and simultaneously released the single and video "Exorcise".
The band describes "Firesky" as their most ambitious album to date, where they for the first time truly incorporate black metal elements.
The lyrics on "Firesky" directly distance themselves from political attacks on women's and LGBT people's rights.
Konvent got a new guitarist, Amira Hernan, after former guitarist Sophie Lake left the band.
Konvent played at the major Danish festival Copenhell in Copenhagen.
