Kristian Himmelstrup is a Danish author who writes historical fiction and biography. His works include a biography of J.P. Jacobsen, the novel "Dinosaurens sidste tango" and "Pio", a novel about the Danish labour movement pioneer Louis Pio. He also teaches creative writing, with a particular focus on turning historical sources into literary narrative.
