Leif Davidsen is a Danish author and journalist, born in 1950 on the island of Funen, who made his debut in 1984 with the thriller Uhellige alliancer. He is best known for political thrillers set in Russia and Eastern Europe, drawing on his years as DR's television correspondent in Moscow during the 1980s. His novels have been translated into 15 languages, and he has received awards including De Gyldne Laurbær (The Golden Laurel) and the Nordic crime prize Glasnøglen.
