About

LOKSMITH are a Copenhagen-based rock quartet active since 2019, drawing on alt-metal and post-rock to build a sound defined by dynamic contrasts, melancholic vocals and driving rhythms. The band - Bastian Hobbs, William Witten Nielsen, Malte Storm Andersen and Valdemar Hansen - reached the Danish final of the Emergenza Festival in 2021 and have since sold out venues including Rust and Raahuset. Their debut album "Lanterns" arrived in February 2025, recorded live at Gaarden Studios and produced by Mikkel Lyneborg.

    The band has played sold-out shows at Rust and Raahuset as well as performances at, among others, Pumpehuset, Tobakken and Urban13.

    The EP "The Issue" was released in 2023, produced by Peter Brander (Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Big Fat Snake).

    LOKSMITH reached the Danish final of Emergenza Festival in 2021 and thus made their debut on the Danish live scene.
