Lucky Lo is the stage name of Swedish singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lo Ersare, who grew up in Umeå and has been based in Copenhagen since 2014. Her alt-pop draws on folk music, her hometown's punk scene, improvisation, Bulgarian vocal traditions and time spent in Japan. She holds a bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and contributed to 16 releases as a backing vocalist and producer before her 2022 debut album 'Supercarry'. Her second album 'The Big Feel' followed in 2023, and she has received awards including Talent of the Year at Carl Prisen and the Swedish music critics' prize Skaps Prisen.
Lo Ersare publicly announced that all Lucky Lo concerts in 2025 are cancelled as she is expecting a child and has followed medical advice to stop performing.
Lucky Lo performed at Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2024 in a collaboration with pianist Nikolaj Hess at Brønshøj Vandtårn.
The second album 'The Big Feel' was released on October 27, 2023 and was a cover story in Politiken prior to its release.
Lucky Lo performed at Fermaten in Herning as part of a Danish tour following 'The Big Feel'.
