School of X
School of X performs at Skråen i Nordkraft in Aalborg on 26 February 2027.
School of X is the solo project of Copenhagen-based musician Rasmus Littauer, who has released music under the name since 2017. Before going solo he spent years as a touring drummer for MØ, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour and Major Lazer, playing stages from Coachella to the Sydney Opera House. The name nods to Eks-skolen, an avant-garde art collective founded in Nørrebro in 1961 by figures including Jørgen Leth and Per Kirkeby. Three studio albums - Armlock (2020), Dancing Through the Void (2021) and Seventh Heaven (2024) - have earned him international recognition for his melancholic alternative pop.
The single "Few Changes" feat. Noah Carter from the album Seventh Heaven received positive reviews as one of the album's highlights.
Third studio album Seventh Heaven was released on November 1, 2024 via Tambourhinoceros, produced by Søren Buhl Lassen (Lucky Lo, Brimheim).
School of X announced a Seventh Heaven tour for 2025.
The single "Bad Design" from Seventh Heaven was released as the lead single and marked a new direction with a new band and new producer.
School of X performed at the by:Larm festival in Oslo as part of the promotion of Seventh Heaven.
