About
Luftens Helte is a Danish live band from Aarhus, founded in 2014 under the name Disneybandet, with 20 musicians - three lead vocalists and a large instrumental ensemble spanning saxophones, flugelhorns, violins and marimba. The band performs music from classic animated films including The Lion King, Mulan, Tarzan and Frozen, and takes its name from the intro song to 'Darkwing Duck'. They have played to sold-out venues across Denmark and received five-star reviews in GAFFA, earning nominations for GAFFA's Årets Danske Livenavn (Danish Live Act of the Year) in both 2024 and 2025.
