Luke Slater (born 12 June 1968 in Reading, Berkshire) is an English DJ, producer and label owner who has been active in techno since the early 1990s. He is widely regarded as a pioneer of British techno, best known under the alias Planetary Assault Systems - a project that has shaped over 15 years of global techno history. In 2006 he founded his own imprint, Mote-Evolver, and has also recorded as part of the trio LSD alongside Steve Bicknell and Dave Sumner on Ostgut Ton.
Planetary Assault Systems released the remix compilation 'Reassembled' on March 28, 2025 via Mote-Evolver, featuring reworks by Len Faki, Oscar Mulero, Chlär and Rene Wise.
