Marco Layera (born 1978) is a Chilean theatre director, playwright and actor from Santiago de Chile, where in 2008 he founded the theatre collective La Re-sentida. He is known for an intensely physical, politically charged stage language that mixes grotesque humour with sharp social critique, and his productions have been staged in more than 30 countries on over 100 international stages. In 2022, his play "Oasis de la Impunidad" was named by the New York Times as one of the year's most notable theatre productions.
