About

Mariusz Praśniewski is a Polish double bass player based in Copenhagen. He studied jazz at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Odense and the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, and also worked with bassist Anders Jormin in Gothenburg. For more than a decade he has been a regular presence on the Danish and European jazz and improvisation circuit, collaborating with musicians including Tomasz Dąbrowski, Anders Mogensen, Gilad Hekselman and Elchin Shirinov.
