About

Myrath are a Tunisian-French progressive metal band from Ezzahra, founded in 2001 by guitarist Malek Ben Arbia. They were the first Tunisian act to sign with a European record label, and built their reputation by weaving Arabic and North African scales into a framework of power and progressive metal. Albums such as 'Tales of the Sands' (2011), 'Shehili' (2019) and their seventh record 'Wilderness of Mirrors' (2026) have taken them to major festivals including Hellfest, Wacken and Sweden Rock.
