Nothing [US] + Support: Hammok [NO]
The Philadelphia shoegaze band Nothing plays Stengade with Norwegian hardcore trio Hammok as support, delivering noise-driven rock blending post-punk, dreampop, and industrial textures.
Nothing is an American shoegaze band from Philadelphia, founded by vocalist-guitarist Domenic "Nicky" Palermo around 2010. Blending crushing walls of distorted guitar with fragile, dream-laden melodies, they have become one of the most influential acts in the genre's contemporary revival, drawing comparisons to My Bloody Valentine and Hum. Their debut "Guilty of Everything" (2014) and follow-up "Tired of Tomorrow" (2016) established them internationally, and in February 2026 they released their fifth studio album, "a short history of decay", on Run for Cover Records.
Nothing released their fifth studio album "a short history of decay" on Run for Cover Records on February 27, 2026 - produced by Domenic Palermo and Nick Bassett.
Reviewers described "a short history of decay" as an album that feels like a full circle back to the debut's aesthetic, with Palermo himself calling it "a final chapter" in the narrative that began with "Guilty of Everything".
The Slide Away festival, founded by Nothing in 2024, returned in 2025 as a bicoastal event with shows at Brooklyn Paramount (April 26) and Hollywood Palladium (May 24).
In an interview, frontman Domenic Palermo said he is working on bringing the Slide Away festival to the United Kingdom and Japan in 2026.
Nothing released the collaborative album "When No Birds Sang" with noisecore band Full of Hell in November 2023.
😴 Nothing scheduled with this artist in the near future.
