PIGEDYR is a music theatre production directed and composed by Rebekka Boyding, adapted from Cecilie Lind's award-winning 2022 novel of the same name. Actress Laura Skjoldborg plays the young Sara, with the women's choir UngKlang acting as a Greek chorus throughout the 90-minute performance at Copenhagen's Teater Sort/Hvid. The show inverts the perspective of Nabokov's Lolita by centering the young woman's own desire, and drew strong critical notices when it premiered in September 2023.
PIGEDYR returns to Sort/Hvid with a new performance period from 13 September to 11 October 2025.
The soundtrack to the performance was released as an album with Sort/Hvid, Laura Skjoldborg and UngKlang in April 2024.
