Simon Ask (full name Simon Ask Ladekarl) is a Danish guitarist, composer and producer, best known as co-founder of Katinka Band. He produced all of the band's releases and in 2018 won the Carl Prize for pop composer of the year alongside Katinka Bjerregaard. As a solo artist he released the EP Dive, a set of instrumental electronic-pop tracks that featured prominently in the DR3 series Doggystyle, and has also produced for several other Danish acts.
Katinka Band completed their farewell tour in November 2024 and officially dissolved after twelve years of collaboration.
