Simon Fruelund is a Danish author, born in 1966, who made his debut in 1997 with the short story collection Mælk. He has since published several novels, including Panamericana and Pendlerne, with translations into English and Italian. He trained at the Danish Writers' School and teaches creative writing at Vallekilde Højskole.
