About
Søs Fenger (born Charlotte Fenger, 1961, Kongens Lyngby) is one of Denmark's most enduring singer-songwriters. She rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the pop group News in the early 1980s, then launched a solo career with the 1989 album Vinterdage, which sold over 150,000 copies. Across more than four decades she has moved freely between pop, jazz, rock and folk song, recording in Danish, Swedish and English, and has been named Female Artist of the Year three times by major Danish music awards.
