Danish rock legends TV-2 perform a semi-acoustic tour of the country's concert halls, featuring four decades of hits with the original lineup.
Sven Gaul (born 11 April 1953 in Flensburg) is the drummer and co-founder of the Aarhus pop-rock band tv·2, active since 1980/81. Raised in the Danish minority community of South Schleswig, he moved to Aarhus to study German and ended up becoming one of the most recognisable rhythmic forces in Danish popular music. With more than 20 studio albums and over two million records sold, tv·2 rank among the most commercially successful Danish bands of all time - and Gaul has been behind the kit for all of it.
Five tv-2 songs - including 'Bag duggede ruder' (no. 23) - were in the summer of 2026 voted into DR's Top 100 of the best Danish songs ever.
tv-2 returned in July 2026 to Orange Scene at Roskilde Festival after 25 years of absence.
tv-2 reissues in 2026 a popular book about the band's career - now with a new chapter.
tv-2 released in March 2025 their 20th studio album, 'Som om vi ikke har mere at sige', to excellent reviews in Danish media.
In December 2024 the book 'TV-2 - Historien - Pladerne - Sangene' was released, which reviews the band's career album by album.
