The Delines
American indie-rock band The Delines performs at Hotel Cecil in Copenhagen.
The Delines are an American country-soul band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2012 by novelist and songwriter Willy Vlautin (formerly of Richmond Fontaine) around singer Amy Boone's world-weary, vulnerable voice. The band is known for cinematic, narrative songs about drifters and working-class characters, built on horns, pedal steel and Boone's vocals. They broke through with the 2014 debut album "Colfax" and have toured Europe extensively ever since, building a loyal following.
The Delines released their sixth studio album "The Set Up", which continues the stories of deceitful and desperate fates from their previous record.
As part of the tour for "The Set Up", The Delines play in Copenhagen at Hotel Cecil on October 13, 2026.
The band re-released the archive album "Scenic Sessions" in September 2025.
The album "Mr. Luck & Ms. Doom", the band's fifth studio album, was released on Valentine's Day 2025 via Decor/El Cortez Records.
Willy Vlautin's novel "The Night Always Comes" was adapted into a film by Netflix with filming in Portland in 2024, starring Vanessa Kirby and Jennifer Jason Leigh in the lead roles.
