Violence is a Copenhagen post-punk band that grew out of the blackened hardcore act Woes. Rooted in the European punk and hardcore underground, the band has played more than 100 shows across the continent's DIY circuit. Their debut album "Area Sub Rosa" came out in 2022, and the 2025 EP "Forgetting How to Cry" pushed the sound further into electronic territory with trance and dance elements.
Violence is booked to play in Ghent, Belgium, together with the band Hexis.
The band released the single "Colour Decay" featuring Saskia Karlholm from T A K E R, which blends late-80s post-punk with 90s dance music.
The debut album "Area Sub Rosa" was released via Last Mile Records.
The band debuted with the single "Rendezvous (Not I/We)" ahead of the album Area Sub Rosa.
