About: Violence

Formerly a hardcore punk outfit, this Copenhagen band reinvented itself as Violence, trading raw punk energy for melancholic, synth-driven post-punk. Hundreds of underground shows and the 2022 album "Area Sub Rosa" later, the group's latest EP, "Forgetting How to Cry" (2025), leans into trance and dance textures.
