VoA - Voices of Aarhus is a rhythmic a cappella choir founded in November 2025, led by conductor and artistic director Tine Fris-Ronsfeld, a prominent figure in the international choral world known for her work with Vocal Line and Syng Selected. The choir draws on more than 30 hand-picked singers from the Danish choral scene, with a repertoire ranging from Aarhus and Nordic roots to international works and original compositions written specifically for VoA.
VoA performs on September 4, 2026 at Dokk1 in Aarhus as part of Aarhus Festuge in collaboration with Stemmer Bygger Bro and sings a selection from the program 'A Different Kind of Human'.
VoA is invited to the Popchor-Festival Schlei-Hearing in Schleswig, Germany on October 10, 2026 - the choir's first known performance abroad.
VoA gives a Christmas concert in Vonsild Church in Kolding on November 25, 2026 with the program 'Dejlig er Jorden'.
VoA opens 2027 with a New Year's concert in Enghøj Church in Randers on January 6.
