1000 Fryd is a self-governing cultural centre and music venue in Aalborg, rooted in the alternative and autonomous movement. Run entirely by volunteers, it hosts concerts, theatre, film screenings and political events, and ranks among the longest-running independent cultural houses in Denmark.
