Musikkens Hus is a large music venue on the Limfjord waterfront in Aalborg, opened in March 2014. The building was designed by the Austrian firm Coop Himmelb(l)au and contains four halls, the largest seating 1,298. It is home to the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Academy of Music's Aalborg department, Aalborg University's music programmes, and the Danish JazzCenter. The programme ranges from classical concerts and opera to contemporary and rhythmic music.
