BMA - short for Bibliotek, Museum og Arkiv (Library, Museum and Archive) - brings together Syddjurs Library, Museum Østjylland and the Ebeltoft local history archive under one roof. It occupies three floors of the old malting halls in Maltfabrikken, a red brick factory dating from 1861 that closed in 1998 and reopened as a cultural centre in 2020. Visitors can move freely between local history, archaeology, literature and archive material, and the garden room offers a panoramic view over Ebeltoft Vig and the Mols hills. Admission is free.
