Miss Larsen has worked at the town library for as long as anyone can remember. The library is mostly empty - nobody reads anymore, and even Miss Larsen has lost interest, simply shelving books. Then a letter falls out of a book: "I love you, Miss Larsen." And suddenly Miss Larsen, the library, and the entire town are transformed.

The production is created by Teater AKKord with drama and concept by Signe Kærup Dahl, musical arrangement by Søren Dahl Jeppesen, and puppetry by Signe Kærup Dahl. It features newly composed music and songs.

About the venue: BMA, Maltfabrikken i Ebeltoft

BMA - short for Bibliotek, Museum og Arkiv (Library, Museum and Archive) - brings together Syddjurs Library, Museum Østjylland and the Ebeltoft local history archive under one roof. It occupies three floors of the old malting halls in Maltfabrikken, a red brick factory dating from 1861 that closed in 1998 and reopened as a cultural centre in 2020. Visitors can move freely between local history, archaeology, literature and archive material, and the garden room offers a panoramic view over Ebeltoft Vig and the Mols hills. Admission is free.
