Music with Coffee - librarians' personal picks: 22 October – 17 December 2026, BMA, Maltfabrikken i Ebeltoft, Ebeltoft.

Librarians share their favorite music - sometimes accompanied by readings or anecdotes. Tea and coffee are served, and the event takes place in the Garden Room.

The repertoire reflects what each librarian is passionate about: a musical style, a composer, an artist, a 'time capsule' of music, or a piece from literature. Both rhythmic and classical music may feature - sometimes both on the same day.

Come with an open mind.

About the venue: BMA, Maltfabrikken i Ebeltoft

BMA - short for Bibliotek, Museum og Arkiv (Library, Museum and Archive) - brings together Syddjurs Library, Museum Østjylland and the Ebeltoft local history archive under one roof. It occupies three floors of the old malting halls in Maltfabrikken, a red brick factory dating from 1861 that closed in 1998 and reopened as a cultural centre in 2020. Visitors can move freely between local history, archaeology, literature and archive material, and the garden room offers a panoramic view over Ebeltoft Vig and the Mols hills. Admission is free.
