Café Vognporten is part of Borreby Gods, a manor estate just outside Skælskør, and occupies the estate's historic carriage gate building from the mid-1500s. The space served first as a grain store and later as a carriage house before being converted into a café with seating for 150 guests. Food is prepared from local ingredients and served in connection with events at the adjacent Borreby Teater.
