Borreby Gods is a listed Renaissance manor house from 1556, just outside Skælskør. The estate's oldest barn, dating from 1593, was converted into Borreby Teater in 2012 - the only manor-house theatre in Denmark, seating 450 and awarded the Slagelse Municipality building prize that same year. The programme covers theatre productions and concerts, while the historic buildings also host conferences and events.
