Grand Hotel Odense opened in 1897 in national-romantic style, right on the pedestrian street in the city centre, close to the railway station. The hotel has 135 rooms spread across the original historic building and a modernist wing added in the 1950s. Alongside accommodation it offers Grands Fiskerestaurant, a bar, and a regular programme of dining events and hotel concerts. Conference facilities include a large hall with a glass ceiling for up to 160 seated guests.
