Mindelunden

About the venue

Mindelunden in Ryvangen is a memorial site for Danes who were executed or died during the German occupation of 1940-45. The shooting range where many resistance fighters were killed has been preserved, and the adjoining cemetery holds the graves of more than 150 victims. The site is used for commemorations, especially on 4 and 5 May.
