About the venue

Skråen is North Jutland's main rhythmic music venue, located inside the Nordkraft cultural centre on Kjellerups Torv in Aalborg. The music association behind it was founded in 1978 and moved to its current home in 2009. With more than 300 concerts a year - ranging from local acts to international names across the full rhythmic spectrum - it also hosts stand-up comedy. The main hall holds 400 guests, while the café seats 120 and doubles as a smaller stage. In summer, Skråen runs outdoor concerts in the Skovdalen forest.
